I’ve never seen them in anything before and I’m just so mighty impressed. Such a satisfying ending to a solid drama. I have to admit the earlier episodes were my favourite, it went flat in the middle for me but the ending was done nicely. So far, this is one of the few dramas I’ve watched that managed to draw me in from the start to the end. Usually, I get bored half way through and find myself FF all the annoying and useless bits. But I thoroughly enjoyed each and every episode of this one!

We get a montage of her dressing up, before she calls someone on the phone, wondering aloud why that person’s late. And ha, she’s using a flip phone that’s at least half a decade outdated. I watched the first two episodes when I was really tired and had trouble following the sequence of events, and the logic behind. You saved me a lot of time and head scratching! So far I love the acting and the chemistry between the couples (or would-be couples).

Hilariously, she responds with “you haven’t said anything”! Clearly he is taking this veeery seriously! He tells her to go ahead and ask him any question then. Hoon Dong isn’t far away, in fact, he’s the mystery man that Jang Mi has been waiting for.

I’m certainly old enough that I know a fair number of people who are divorced. It depends on the marriage, but it doesn’t mean the marriage was a mistake or nothing good came of it. Every story can be told and in multiple ways, and almost every argument about humans and human nature can be made.

Speak of the devil… here’s Whip’s wedding shoot with Taylor in 2010.

He takes her to a building that is still under construction and asks her to run a business with him. He’ll be the chef and she’ll be the manager. He’ll consider the $5000 she gave him as an investment, along with another investment he got from a mystery person. Jang Mi tells him that there’s nothing as a free lunch in the world and even the location for the restaurant is a bit bad, so she asks what he believed in. “I believed you…I started dreaming because of you”.

Dee has a heart attack then she and Dennis try to get healthy but end up with a drug problem. Let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane and recap what made each season unforgettable. It has been a while since I watched a drama all over again like 3-4 times in a week while waiting for the next episode to come.. Even Hoon-dong, who could’ve just been a simplistic villain, is given some dimension. I enjoy that everyone, down to his employees, knows that he’s a pathetic weasel. He doesn’t upset me because he’s not fooling anybody, unlike so many drama villains who wear two faces. He’s openly superficial and even his friends think he’s kind of a dumbass, and for all of his many, many, many flaws, he’s sympathetic in his own way. And part of that is in keeping him from being too sympathetic, which is what I like about the writing.

Some of which extends beyond abortion care. There was sex education classes and the clinic was doing some good work. Bailey wasn’t going to run from that anytime soon. He had a right to be concerned, but Bailey reminded him that she got used to his job as a firefighter and that was just as dangerous as her job running the clinic. Bailey still let Ben drive her to work everyday because she could see how important it was to him to feel like he was doing something.

It’s cute how the other women in the waiting room urge Mom to take the money and kick the man out, but the men are all “These women are so disloyal! ” Mom grudgingly takes the money (and Dad), to a round of applause. Meanwhile Ki-tae drinks with Dad, who’s calmed down enough to say that he understands that Ki-tae was just being cautious with Jang-mi. They commiserate over how hard it is to be around women who have to talk everything out, while men just get each other without speaking. Hilariously though, Ki-tae does say he likes how it’s easy to just say a few words to a woman and everything is fine.

Boo Hye-rung and her colleagues discuss Lee Yeon-hui and whether she’s about to marry a wealthy man. They talk about their husbands and the likelihood of cheating; Boo Hye-rung tells Lee Si-eun that she should make more of an effort to dress every day. Lee Si-eun says she’s too busy and has housework to do as well. They then talk about love and responsibilities, and they all seem to have different perspectives. This entire scene is the premise of the series; different marriage and relationships, and how they can all be unique at different ages and stages.
